Thunder's Wonder & Legacy's Mica
February '04
Peruvian ION
(Full Aliazana)
ARI# 176502
DOB: 8/9/96
Breed: Huacaya
Sex: Male
Origin: USA
Color: Light Fawn
Sire: Peruvian Guellermo, ARI#123042, Light Fawn, Peruvian
Dam: Peruvian Ioalia, ARI#122931, Beige, Peruvian
Update: Peruvian Ion is a part of the foundation for the
quality breeding stock of the future. He is a pure Peruvian domestic male
that has unmistakable quality as a product of his superior sire, Guellermo,
and dam, Iaolia. Ion, like his sire, has coverage from head to toe, superior
fineness, density, crimp and uniformity. If quality is your focus, then look
for Peruvian Ion. Ion’s fiber statistics are as follows: average fiber
diameter of 17.1, standard deviation of 3.7 microns, coefficient of
variation of 21.6% and just .7% over 30 microns.
We knew Ion represented what we are striving to achieve in our breeding
program. As an 10 year old male, his fiber rivals those that are half his
age! He is a magnificent representation of what all breeders want in their
genetics. We are pleased to introduce for a limited time, his introductory
price, book him now.
Ion, like his sire, has proven his ability to produce a multitude of colors
from white to fawn to brown and even black! The remarkable thing about Ion’s
crias is that they tend to replicate so much of what Ion has to offer; no
matter what color, Ion is passing on his gentle demeanor; tight, full
bonnet; high frequency crimp; and ultra soft, fine fiber. 2 of Ions
daughters just sold at auction for a combined $75000 +!!!
If quality, proven production, and a history of show winning offspring is
your focus, then look for Peruvian Ion to be the next herdsire for your
females. We would like to present an amazing herd sire that can provide your
farm with prestige, marketability, and the chance to take your breeding
program to the next breeding level. You too can have award winning Ion
offspring! Full Alianza bloodlines are quite rare, grab this opportunity
now!
We are proud to co-own Ion with
Clearview Alpaca Farm.
Micron Count: 17.1 microns, standard deviation of 3.7 microns,
coefficient of variation of 21.6% and just 0.7% over 30 microns.
Stud Fee: $4,000
See below for Herdsire
information.
Peruvian
Guellermo
Guellermo had it all with both perfect conformation and incredible fiber,
and Ioalia was a great match. Guellermo’s fiber analysis showed an average
fiber diameter of 22.2 microns, a standard deviation of 4.4 microns and
coefficient of variation 19.8%. Guellermo’s babies are typically dense, well
covered, and have pleasant dispositions.

DOB: 9/23/02
Breed: Huacaya
Sex: Male
Origin: USA
Color: Black
Sire: Fernando
Dam:
Malvinas, ARI#813135
Update: Our beautiful black boy from Black Thunders son,
Fernando! He has great bone, lustrous, crimpy blue black fiber. Supreme
handle. The coverage on this boy is unbelievable. He's got heavy density,
very consistent crimp to the skin with great fineness. Everyone always
ooohhs and ahhhhs when they place their hands on him. Thunder weighs in at
150 pounds, a nice size for a male.
One characteristic with Thunder is his amazingly calm personality. We can do
almost anything with this guy, he is accepting of everything. He is quiet
and very easy to work with. He loves carrots and will give kisses all day
long.
His head is very typey, beautiful topknot and has very straight
conformation. An outstanding young full Bolivian black male out of the
famous Bolivian Black Thunder line which is out west, this makes our
Thunders bloodlines hard to get out east, and full Bolivian black males are
even rarer.
We feel Thunder is the whole package. With several sold outside breedings,
others have shown they agree. Thunder is a gentleman breeder, loves to flirt
with the ladies before getting down to business. Thunder now has 4 cria on
the ground, 100% FEMALE! He's throwing color every time. 2 fawn females out
of fawn and white dams, one chocolate female out of dark fawn and now TRUE
BLACK female out of a medium brown dam! Each one shows corkscrewy fiber from
skin to tip with unbelievable density! Everyone's happy!
Thunder came home from the VA Classic a Color Champion! Judge Tellier's
comments "Loved his presence the moment he stepped into the ring, has a
perfect bite, great bone, love his luster and extreme fineness, a nice
collection of blacks in this class but this one stood out from the rest!"
Thunder boy also placed 3rd at 2005 Mapaca in a very competitive class of
10! We are very proud to present this bloodline on our farm and make him
available now to your girls!
Thunder is now available for limited outside breedings.
